Answer:
I am a colonhydrotherapist, and yes, unfortunatelly this is the best kept secret out there. I have actually been trying to contact the Oprah show because I think it is soooo important to make people aware of this great healing procedure.
For as far as how many times you need to have it done, it totally depends on how toxic, and how much build up you have. I always recommend to start with a series. One on day one, one on day 4, than one more a week later, than seasonal if no more issues, but if you have severe constipation you might do it weekly, than built down to rebuild your peristalsis and colon. I was addicted to laxatives for 15 years, and unable to go without using them daily. For three months I went once every two weeks ( all I could afford) then 3 weeks, 4 weeks. After three months I swore off laxatives and have never needed to take one since ( 5 years ago) Now I do it maybe every two to three months. My skin cleared up, I have six pack abs ( had a baby one and a half year ago, at 38) more energy than I have ever had, and no more cellulite. Your bowels have everything to do with how you feel, believe me, I know, and I have it as my mission in life to bring more awareness to this valuable treatment.
It is hard to find colon hydrotherapist, but good luck on your search and don't give up. I don't care how many sit ups someone does, but till the fat is off the belly, and the colon clean, you will never get it.
As with anything, don't go overboard, three or two times a week does not sound right to me, as with anything, to much of a good thing is just that, too much.
I usually do my own colonics. Typically, I'll do three a week, and each session takes me about two hours. I know that's more than most people, but I get an ungodly amount of erotic pleasure from them. Can't help with the Chicago part.
I have a colonic two times a week. You should go on a continual basis. Your body collects toxins when ever you eat anything thats not 100% organic, which for 99.9% of us, that's every meal. The process takes about an hour, and it really helps all types of physical ailments. My arthritis was gone after having colonics for about 1.5 years. I had severe rheumatoid arthritis in 20+ joints, and over the course of a year and a half, it was all cleared up. Colonics is the best kept secret, and that comes from someone who is a pharmacist, and tried every "pill" for 6 months for my arthritis, and then went the natural path. I actually do not know of any specialists in the Chicago region. I'm in Indianapolis area, and they keep it hush-hush in Indiana. I dont think Indiana allows any advertising for colonic therapy.
I totally agree. While colonics are highly recommended, they should also not be done too often. I think a frequency of once every 6 months to once a year is sufficient. However, throughout, on a daily basis, you should adopt more of a cleansing diet instead of continuing with processed foods and unhealthy stuff. Ocassionally, also do a fast like juice fast, fruit fast or some form of detox diet.
