What cure can I find for Hot Flushes !?

After having 39 sessions of radio therapy in 2005.
Answer:
THere are a number of herbal medicines that you could try - difficult to prescribe which one will do the trick for you. Homoeopathy however, very successfully treats menopausal women - successfully because every one is different %26 will have different symptoms, anxieties, feelings, sleep patterns etc so the remedy is selected for you on the totality of your presentation. Go to http://www.homeopathy-soh.org to find a practitioner local to you who will be able to help. Lovely %26 natural without short or longterm side effects.
Black Cohosh Chasteberry Siberian Ginseng Dong Quai Licorice Soy Isoflavones
*Some of these have mixed reviews.
phase 2 natural cure for hot flashes you will be so happy ya tried it purchase at drug store
A fan.
Connect your cistern to the cold pipe instead of the hot!
:-)
(sorry)
If you are female and menopausal, try HRT.
Soy Isoflavones capsules worked wonders for my mom. She had been on hormones to deal with her constant hot flashes but she started to experience side effects. She than discontinued her use of hormones and started taking soy capsules (she buys them at walmart) and felt just as good as when she was on the hormones minus the side effects!
Hi there you have my deapest sympathy with the hot flushes I used to have them that is before i started to take black chosh you cad buy them from any health food shop or chemist but dont go to boots they charge 拢9-99 for 30 tablets where as the other chemists and supermarkets charge approx 拢3-99 for 30 please try them they really do work better that HRT and less side affects ie breast cancer i have not had any side affects and the good news is no hot flushes either .Good Luck and health for the future
Evening Primrose Oil stops hot flashes.
Very deep breathing helps. As you feel the flush coming on, take a deep breath and let your tummy inflate and then hold it to the count of 5, then SLOWLY exhale and pull tummy back in. As you exhale.'visualise' warmth leaving your body. Repeat a few times and the flush will go away. This works everytime for me! Hope it helps you.
my doctor-told me to take this over the counter drug, called, black coho sh, 1mil gram. do the lowest dose, ask doctor first, just to make sure it's OK, for you
sage is supposed to be very good, not only does it reduce the number of hot flushes but it also how long it lasted.you should take the equilvalent of 120 g each day. ur local health shop can help you with finding the right product. Please see articles below for more info.
My naturopathic doc got rid of mine with capsules of magnesium citrate...I take them daily. He also suggested for my mother...either that.or black cohosh.GOOD LUCK! :)
i don't know of a cure for it but sticking my head in the fridge used to help until i found a migracap that works like having the coolness of a fridge on your head only more relaxing!
I found that starflower at least 1000mg per day, but remember that you need to take it for a month or two for it to start working, but remember to take it for a few months and then have a months rest - dont take it for a while - then start it again, it is bwetter for your system which will work alot better. Also keep off caffeen, change to herbal tea, or gree tea - no milk and take it with a little honey if you dont like the taste, but bear with it you will start liking the tast, I recommend peppermint tea, camomile is nice but there are loads to try. Flush your body of all those toxins that have been in your body by plenty of water every day, but not cold water tepid water is much kinder for the body, cold is a shock to the system as you need body temperature water. Not too much cheese or chocolate or marmite, these can cause hot flushes. And try and be calm and relax as much as possible, start meditating, or ti chi or sit by a stream and be still to find your self which will help the hot flushes also. Most of all be kind to yourself, remember your body is a temple, and be gentle with it.
Different things work for different people but i would suggest either Black cohosh or Red clover tablets coupled with Sage leaf tablets. Soya is extremely helpful, either by taking soya isoflavones as some either people have suggested or if you are taking say Red clover and sage why not try having a soya yoghurt a day as well? When your body enters menopause the symptoms you suffer from are basically your body going through oestrogen withdrawl. Red Clover, black cohosh and soya isoflavones are oestrogen mimickers so in that sense trick your body into feeling better!! Sage is most helpful for menopausal sweats. Please don't go on HRT if you can avoid it. It's not good for you and if you can control symptoms with some natural remedies then that is certainly the best route to take
Women formula tabs by "tianshi" company have proved very helpful in hot flushes
