What can eyes tell us about are health?

I have seen in the past a kind of alternative meds doc and he had a big eye chart for both left and right eyes, but thing i want to know is what is this practice called? So in the iris part of your eye certin lines or spots, dots mean certin things about your health like a certin dot in your left eye up high could mean you have fertility problems or asthma or things like that has any one heard or this? Or know what it is called?
Answer:
Iridology (also known as iridodiagnosis) is an alternative medicine technique whose proponents believe that patterns, colors, and other characteristics of the iris can be examined to determine information about a patient's systemic health. Practitioners match their observations to iris charts which divide the iris into zones which they correspond to specific parts of the human body. Iridologists see the eyes as "windows" into the body's state of health.Examination of the eye, including the iris, by a trained physician can sometimes tell a lot about disease processes (trauma, inflammation or infection) affecting the eye.In certain circumstances examination can reveal disease affecting other parts of the body or the entire body. Retinal exam can sometimes show evidence of high blood, high cholesterol, diabetes, certain protozoan and parasitic infections, retinoblastoma (a rare eye %26 brain tumor) and/or elevated intracranial pressure. Corneal exam, in extremely rare circumstances, may detect very rare diseases involving excess deposit of minerals (iron, copper) in various body organs. Sceral exam may detect Grave's disease, a component of hyperthyroidism Pupillary exam, when abnormal, may indicate a number of conditions including drug intoxication, neurologic disease, diabetes, vascular disease, or infectious disease (neurosyphylis).
It is called Iridology. It is the best alternative to going to the doctor that I have discovered. It is amazing what an iridologist can read in your iris. I'm currently on an herbal plan for the condition that I'm in. My iridologist is also an herbalist, massage therapist, and teacher.
the only downside (and its a big one) is that is onlt diagnoses rather than prevents and treats ailments. The entire human body is basically a map to our inner world. you can tell the health of a person from their hair, skin, fingernails, feet and hands.
