Hypnosis Tapes/CD's - Recommendations?

Hypnosis has worked for me in the past, but only when I've spent a couple hundred dollars and gone to an actual hypnotist who personalizes a tape for me. I don't have that kind of money now and it's twenty years later so I was hoping that there must be at least a few highly recommended basic cd's out there for pain management, stress, depression, motivation, etc. that some of you may have come across that have had success with. Even ideas are welcome!!
Answer:
You can record your own scripts using a regular tape recorder. A book by William Hewitt has scripts.

You need to learn to meditate, then in meditation use self suggestion. For this to work really well; you have to go deep enough into meditation to get past the conscious mind's ability to sabatage your efforts.
I like Tom Nicoli's hypnosis CDs (http://www.tomnicoli.com/) and the Paraliminals programs from Learning Strategies (here's a good write-up explaining how they work: http://www.stevepavlina.com/paraliminals... There is a hypnotherapy school that sells some good ones that I've used as well (http://hypnotherapyacademy.com/),... but they don't have them listed on their site for some reason so you'd have to call. Ask for a list of programs done by their director, Tim Simmerman, or Gil Boyne. And Paul McKenna in the UK (http://www.mckenna-direct.com/index.html... is another good source.
