What causes body odor, and are there natural ways to remedy it?

I'd like to know why some people smell really bad, others dont, regardless of practices- and what people do about odor who are not into using harsh chemicals and cologne
Answer:
I have some information for your consideration and it's only for informational purposes.
Body odour or bromhidrosis happens due to the smell of bacteria that grows on the body. These bacteria grow in their number when you sweat and cause body odour. However, sweat in itself does not possess any smell. Body odour of a person is dependant upon multiple factors like gender, genetics, health, diet, medication and many more. That is why, some people smell really bad and some people dont. It differs from person to person and this aspect of human beings is used for identification of persons by dogs. Some of the areas that are associated with body odour are underarms, feet, anus, pubic hair and skin. Causes of body odour are serious illness, strong medications, fungal infections, liver problems, kidney diseases, alcoholism, cavities, zinc deficiency, toxin presence in the body and lack of hygiene. Home remedies
These tips are highly rated and most effective in curing body odour, try this and see the difference yourself.
Try avoiding refined foods such as hydrogenated oils and other processed foods. Eat healthy food that contains loads of fiber, whole grains, wheat, soy products and green leafy veggies.
Include red radish juice in the diet. You can also apply it on your feet, under the arm and between the toes after the shower.
Drinking plenty of water will also help you to smell fresh and sweet.
Take two or three charcoal capsules per day. It will help to absorb waste products and decrease fermentation.
Wear cotton clothes to soak sweat during summer.
Body odour always lingers on clothes. So, wash your clothes everyday and never repeat the same outfit without washing it first. Remember wearing something sleeveless will only make the smell more prominent. If you are a person who perspires a lot, wear something with sleeves as often as possible.
Vinegar is an effective home remedy for underarm odour. Apply cider vinegar or white vinegar for unpleasant armpit odour with the help of cotton. This will help you be odour free throughout the day in minutes. Do not apply vinegar on freshly shaved skin as it may sting.
Apply baking soda with lemon on the underarms to kill bacteria. It also aids in absorbing sweat.
Add a few cups of tomato juice to bathing water and soak yourself in water for about 15 minutes.
To smell fresh add a teaspoon of alum to your bath water. Cupful of camphor oil and boiled mint leaves will also work wonders.
Use antibacterial soap or deodorant soap while bathing.
Rub potato slices on your underarms. Wait for it to dry and wash it. Check the freshness for the whole day.
Put 10 drops of essential oil in 30 mm water and apply it underarms.
Lastly, keep your body clean. Epsom salt bath or alternate hot and cold shower baths daily will play a major role in fighting against body odour, This will also improve blond circulation and reduce congestion in the body.
Add a tablespoon of honey to lukewarm water for the final rinse. It will help in keeping the body odour in check.
For smelly feet, wash and dry between the feet adequately and wear well- ventilated footwear to let feet breath.
So, get started. Keep body odour at bay with these simple home remedies.
Try Body mint its great. Its the first all body deodorant. Look it up.
Taking a shower?
The way we smell, is particular to every individual. Although how we keep ourselves clean does have an impact, so does what we eat and drink.Foods containing excessive amounts of spicy condiments tend to cause more "stench" than foods without spices. Furthermore, how we smell also very much depends on how our glands (pituitary, thyroid, etc,.) work in our system, not to mention the fact that we constantly release endorphins and so on.Bad smell depends on your eating and cleanliness practices you might have. I know some individuals that drink in excess milk (gallon or more a day) and they smell terribly bad.
showering and using soap, and avoinding pungent foods such as garlic and onion. and it usually helps if people are not fat.
I think it has alot to do with their diet, and hygiene. There are some really good deodorant alternatives at your local health food store that don't contain harsh substances. There is a mineral stone that I use instead of deodorant, and it works really well.
I was reading an article once that was talking about how the immune system may have a part in the smell of one's body. It attracts the opposite sex with unlike immunities and this strengthens the offspring's immune capabilities. This of coarse was only a "study" and no one recommended not bathing regularly. I have noticed myself that some females have more appealing body fragrances that others. Most now days are covered in deodorants %26 purfumes and are hidden from scent anyways.
The crystal deodorant from a health food store, is an all natural deodorant. It lasts a long time too. Homeopathic Silica helps neutralizing the body odor before it hits the streets, ( comes out into the open.) Uric acid buildup, usually meats and stress. Lack of good sleep, etc.
Body odor reflects directly on the food one eats like consuming too much garlic onions cause body odors
sometimes the clothing is such that the fabric cannot breathe hence body odor
U cld try sea salt rub it gently on ur body in the armpits specially then take a good shower wear fresh clothing after bath
Market is flooded with body deos take ur pick
if allergic to deos use natural substances like rose oil in ur bath
Go to health food store %26 buy a supplement called "Chlorophyll". It deodorizes the body by detoxifying it. It cleanses the blood, which removes toxins. Once the blood is clean, the odor goes away. It's effective on body odor, foot odor %26 bad breath.
body odor is caused by the diff. foods we eat.if you eat only fruits and vegetables you will find almoust no odor, in your underarms and excrement odors,,but if you eat fats and meats,,,you will see the difference. natural deodorants will last longer and will not harm the glands in your body.
