minnor traqulizer. the side effects are numerous but depend on the amount taken the length of use and interaction with other medications.
the drug is used to treat anxiety
Klonopin (clonazepam) is a benzodiazepine similiar to Valium and Xanax. It is usually prescribed for excessive anxiety, though it is used for a whole lot of different things. The biggest side effects are drowsiness, dizziness, and disorientation. Alcohol will magnify these effects. It's very important not to drive after taking it, at least until you know how it affects you. It also carries a significant risk of psychological dependence, so it should not be used except under the care of a doctor. One more thing: In the US, Klonopin is a schedule iv controlled substance. It is a federal crime to possess it without a prescription.
An Rx given to epileptic conditions in some case and other disorders. One side effect is bladder control. Your doc should be able to fill you in, but a pharmacists knows more about drugs, ask them. Klonopin is not spelled right in your question, confussion is also a side effect.
it helps to relieve anxiety. some side effects are loss of appetite, loss of sexual desire, better sleeping, and a feeling of calm. it is addictive though, so it's hard to get off of...
Its also the top of the line compared other benzodiazephines such as valium, xanax diazepam.Better because it is time release; instead of hitting you hard right away then fading after a few hours, which can sometimes lead to worse anxiety, klonopin releases gradually in your system and stays for a longer time. Not only can you function more normally, but you will have an easier time tapering off, or quitting altogether. There are higher chances of bad addiction with the others if used for more than a few weeks. Its also about 5 times stronger than some of the others(diazepam)dont let that intimidate you due to its time release nature, its much more gradual...in a word, its smoother.
Its also a muscle relaxant.
It can be used in conjunction with anti depressants to treat depression, as anti depressants sometimes make people anxious intially.
It can be used to treat epilepsy.
It is also used to help people addicted to stronger drugs(Heroin, cocaine) as a transition drug to help them with the severe withdrawl symptoms that come with quitting.
The most common side effects are drowsiness, some short term memory loss, some motor function impairment.
