What is the BEST Laxative?

I took Phillips but it seemed to just "puff" my poop and that didn't help. What do you suggest? Sorry for the crude-ness.
Thanks
Answer:
Try prunes or prune juice
If you need to go, and you want to clear out your system, get liquid fleet suppository and mix it with something bubbly like 7up or sprite, then drink the entire 8 ounce glass in less than 15 minutes. It'll blast through you so stay near the toilet.Afterwards your colon will be clean and happy, and your stool should be too.
Well, first of all, a proper diet will keep most people "regular",
but, for a complete cleansing of the colon, I have used Magnesium Citrate. Be warned if you drink this, don't make any plans for that day. Stay home and prepare yourself. This natural element will clean out the lining of your colon. Food will attach itself to your colon walls just like sludge in a car, so, a complete cleansing will do wonders for you. Eating foods rich in fiber is always good for keeping things flowing smoothly, but if you want to try something else, a friend of mine, who is also into natural health, recommended this laxative called "Next to Nature". below I have provided their website, which by coincidence is currently offering a free sample, so maybe check this out. I have not used it myself, I eat a lot of fibrous foods, but my friend says it's a great product.Oh, if you decide to do the Magnesium Citrate flush, get the citrus flavor, %26 chill it in the frig. This makes it taste better. The cherry flavor is awful. 1/2 a bottle will do the trick, but for a complete cleansing go ahead %26 drink it all, it's not that bad.Good luck, %26 I hope everything comes out okay.http://www.nexttonature.com/
Try a little psyllium powder (found in your health food store) mixed in with your cereal. (Colon Cleanse is one brand.) All psyllium is, is extra fiber. Another good fiber is flax seed bran or oil. With either of these, start off with a very little and work up. This stuff is very powerful. Oh, and drink a glass of water with it. That ensures that the fiber does what it needs to do.Water solves so many problems--headaches, constipation, etc. etc. etc.

Herbal Fiberblend by AIM. That has fiber and herbs in it. The fiber softens the blockage while the herbs help to move it out. This is by far the best I've ever used. I wouldn't take psyllium without taking an herb or something to help move it through because it could add to the blockage if your intestines are "sluggish." The Fiberblend's not really a laxative - it is a cleanse. I'm telling you this because if a laxative didn't already work, another over-the-counter may not also and if you keep taking them you could really mess up your system.Eat only fruit and prunes for a day or two (especially if you use the Fiberblend, it will really work well).Unfortunately you have to order the Fiberblend. I haven't seen any in the stores that work like that. If you don't want to order it, triphala is a good herb that moves your intestines. But it might take a couple days, because it, too, is more thorough. Good Luck!
Prune Juice its natural and effective...Ouch! Good Luck
