i swallowed something earlier that i shouldnt have to i took a tablespoon of ipecac that my mother had in the bathroom to puke it back up but now im starting to think maybe i shouldnt have because i took a half hour ago and its not workin yet but i feel like **** all shaky and stuff should i make myself throw up?

What in the world did you swallow? Certain things should never be brought back up through the esophagus, it can do even more damage. Certain things you drink milk instead to neutralize it... WHAT DID YOU SWALLOW?
It should work almost immediately. I would ask your mom. What did you swallow to begin with ?
It should work in 10 to 20 minutes, did you make sure you took the correct dosage? Reread the bottle to be sure.
Call POISON CONTROL! MR. YUCK NOW!
That was your motive in taking the Ipecac, so yes that would achieve the same result. Depending on what you swallowed you might consider calling the Poison Control people, or going to the ER.
A table spoon isn't enough.Ipecac comes in pre-measured bottles.Your suppose to drink the whole thing all at once. But you better be in the bathroom when you do. It should work immediately.
