How Many Tines Do They Have To Clean Your Body In Colonics?
I am thinking about having my body cleaned out but i was wondering how many times do i need to have it done i would also like to know how long the total process is done and if anyone knows of a specialist in Chicago any recomendations will be gratified
Answer:
I am a colonhydrotherapist, and yes, unfortunatelly this is the best kept secret out there. I have actually been trying to contact the Oprah show because I think it is soooo important to make people aware of this great healing procedure.
For as far as how many times you need to have it done, it totally depends on how toxic, and how much build up you have. I always recommend to start with a series. One on day one, one on day 4, than one more a week later, than seasonal if no more issues, but if you have severe constipation you might do it weekly, than built down to rebuild your peristalsis and colon. I was addicted to laxatives for 15 years, and unable to go without using them daily. For three months I went once every two weeks ( all I could afford) then 3 weeks, 4 weeks. After three months I swore off laxatives and have never needed to take one since ( 5 years ago) Now I do it maybe every two to three months. My skin cleared up, I have six pack abs ( had a baby one and a half year ago, at 38) more energy than I have ever had, and no more cellulite. Your bowels have everything to do with how you feel, believe me, I know, and I have it as my mission in life to bring more awareness to this valuable treatment.
It is hard to find colon hydrotherapist, but good luck on your search and don't give up. I don't care how many sit ups someone does, but till the fat is off the belly, and the colon clean, you will never get it.
As with anything, don't go overboard, three or two times a week does not sound right to me, as with anything, to much of a good thing is just that, too much.
I usually do my own colonics. Typically, I'll do three a week, and each session takes me about two hours. I know that's more than most people, but I get an ungodly amount of erotic pleasure from them. Can't help with the Chicago part.
I have a colonic two times a week. You should go on a continual basis. Your body collects toxins when ever you eat anything thats not 100% organic, which for 99.9% of us, that's every meal. The process takes about an hour, and it really helps all types of physical ailments. My arthritis was gone after having colonics for about 1.5 years. I had severe rheumatoid arthritis in 20+ joints, and over the course of a year and a half, it was all cleared up. Colonics is the best kept secret, and that comes from someone who is a pharmacist, and tried every "pill" for 6 months for my arthritis, and then went the natural path. I actually do not know of any specialists in the Chicago region. I'm in Indianapolis area, and they keep it hush-hush in Indiana. I dont think Indiana allows any advertising for colonic therapy.
I totally agree. While colonics are highly recommended, they should also not be done too often. I think a frequency of once every 6 months to once a year is sufficient. However, throughout, on a daily basis, you should adopt more of a cleansing diet instead of continuing with processed foods and unhealthy stuff. Ocassionally, also do a fast like juice fast, fruit fast or some form of detox diet.

How many people know about naturopathic medicine?
Answer:
I'm a nutritionist.Contact me at katiektk@hotmail.co.uk if I can help you.
Naturopathic medicine (also known as naturopathy) is a school of medical philosophy and practice that seeks to improve health and treat disease chiefly by assisting the body's innate capacity to recover from illness and injury. Naturopathic practice may include a broad array of different modalities, including manual therapy, hydrotherapy, herbalism, acupuncture, counseling, environmental medicine, aromatherapy, nutritional counseling, homeopathy, and so on. Practitioners tend to emphasize a holistic approach to patient care. Naturopathy has its origins in India along with Ayurveda[1], but is today practiced in many countries around the world in one form or another, where it is subject to different standards of regulation and levels of acceptance.Naturopathic practitioners prefer not to use invasive surgery, or most synthetic drugs, preferring "natural" remedies, for instance relatively unprocessed or whole medications, such as herbs and foods. Licensed physicians from accredited schools are trained to use diagnostic tests such as imaging and blood tests before deciding upon the full course of treatment. Naturopathic Practitioners also employ the use of prescription medications and surgery when necessary and refer out to other medical practitioners. The term naturopathy was coined before 1900, by John Scheel, and used by Benedict Lust. Lust had been schooled in hydrotherapy and other natural health practices in Germany by Father Sebastian Kneipp, who sent Lust to the United States to bring them Kneipp's methods. In 1905, Lust founded the American School of Naturopathy in New York, the first naturopathic college in the United States but "according to the New York Department of State, and the Florida Report to Governor Leroy Collins, it appears that this naturopathic school was never anything but a diploma mill". [2]. Lust took great strides in promoting the profession, culminating in passage of licensing laws in several states prior to 1935, including Arizona, California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Oregon, and Washington and the founding of several naturopathic colleges.Naturopathic medicine went into decline, along with most other natural health professions, after the 1930s, with the discovery of penicillin and advent of synthetic drugs such as antibiotics and corticosteroids. In the post-war era, Lust's death, conflict between various schools of natural medicine (homeopathy, eclectics, physio-medicalism, herbalism, naturopathy, etc.), the rise of medical technology, and consolidation of political power in conventional medicine were all contributing factors. In 1910, when the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching published the Flexner Report which criticized many aspects of medical education in various institutions (natural and conventional), it was mostly seen as an attack on low-quality natural medicine education. It caused many such programs to shut down and contributed to the popularity of conventional medicine.Naturopathic medicine never completely ceased to exist, however, as there were always a few states in which licensing laws existed鈥攖hough at one point there were virtually no schools. One of the most visible steps towards the profession's modern renewal was the opening in 1956 of the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, Oregon. This was the first of the modern naturopathic medical schools offering four-year naturopathic medical training with the intention of integrating mainstream science and naturopathic principles and practice. There are two groups in the United States calling themselves "naturopaths" who have recently been engaged in legal battles. The term when originally coined by John Scheel, and popularized by Dr. Benedict Lust (a German name pronounced "loost") was to apply to those receiving an education in the basic medical sciences with an emphasis on natural therapies:Naturopathic Physicians (formally educated at an accredited school, board-licensed, and exclusively designated ND or NMD in jurisdictions where these titles are protected)
"Traditional" naturopaths (no standardised education, not board-licensed, sometimes self-designated as DNM, but sometimes claiming ND designation in jurisdictions where titles are not protected) [edit] Naturopathic Physicians
Naturopathic physicians in North America are primary care providers trained in conventional medical sciences, diagnosis and treatment, and are experts in natural therapeutics. Licensing and training requirements vary from state to state, but at least 14 states and the District of Columbia have formal licensing and educational requirements.[3]Traditional Naturopaths do also have a licensing and accrediting body, but may allow non-traditional students (those who cannot attend a four-year institution) to obtain the training necessary to provide naturopathic care. The licensing and accrediting bodies for traditional naturopaths are not recognized by the U.S. Government or any U.S. State or Territory.
too many
same as any "medicine".
How many mg a day of Ginko Biloba?
It is mixed in with another supplement I take so it doesn't state the daily dose of just the Ginko Biloba.
Answer:
It depends on what form the herbal is in. Only a standardized extract can provide a "dose" because that's the only time you know there is a consistent level of a specific compound available.Generally, start with the label amount and take that for at least a few days. Then, you may choose to increase the amount by some "step" that you determine. In all fields of medicine this is simply known as "titration." You increase the amount until you get a body response. With some herbals and all drugs, titration is something that requires care because some herbals and all drugs are toxic. But you've no doubt titrated on your own before. Ever had a "bad" headache and took three aspirin instead of two?Ginko is considered to be generally safe, but the phytochemicals in it increase circulation in the head and neck. Because of this, too much may cause a headache. If you're taking Ginko for "memory" or "student performance," keep in mind that it will only help if you have a known circulation problem above the head. Ginko does not improve memory, but by increasing blood flow to the brain (if it was restricted for some reason), it does therefore increase oxygen to the brain.

How many kinds of white methadone dics are there?
Is there a methadone disc that is white, scored to be able to break into 4 pieces. On one side it has an odd looking E %26 the #'s 132? In my 10 years on methadone I haven't ever seen thiis type before! Your help would be of great importance!!
Answer:
Call the pharmacy you got the medication from, they will be able to tell you. If you did not get it from a pharmacy or health care professional then I cannot help you.
A friend of mine was taking methadone and the pill was large round and broke down into 4's and they called it a done wafer im not sure about the E %26132 i would check a prescription guide or talk to a pharmacist
Mine are rectangle shape, scored in the center if you wanted to split it, and on the other side, there is an M, with two straight scores on each side of the M. One time, they gave me diamond shaped ones, and they said those were called Methadose, and that it was the same thing, and strength as my other scripts.

How many goji berries should I eat each day to get the benefits of the antioxidents?
Answer:
Wolfberries (goji berries) have one of the highest rating for antioxidant content that I have found. It is recommended to consume 5,000 ORAC (Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity) a day. Consuming about 1/4 of an ounce of dried wolfberries will exceed this amount. Note that there are several hundred different known antioxidants, each neutralizes free radicals in our system and usually performs other specific functions. It is best to consume several different sources as well as to raise your body's own master antioxidant - Glutathione.
God bless.
Always eat in moderation. A usual serving for fruits and veggies is around a cup. Measure out a cup or two of Goji berries and put them on/in whatever you like.I am unsure as to the concentration of antioxidants in Goji berries, so if they are advertised as being "packed" with them, then I would go for around one half to one cup maximum.Too much antioxidants though can be just as damaging as the free-radicals you are trying to get rid of, so be careful not to "over-dose" on them.Cheers!
if you think goji berries are good for antioxidents you should get some jelluna berries...very tastey and also packed full of antioxidents = )
Do not gorge yourself in goji to reap the benefits of the anioxidants! It is best to eat many fruits and vegetables rich in antioxidants and cartenoids, polyphenols, etc. Well rounded nutrition is the best! Eat in moderation, I would say a few ounces or so a day is great! Enjoy!
just take a couple of fish oil jell-caps every day and recieve the same benifits and much cheaper
How many calories are there in Glucosamine and Chondroitin tablets?
As glucosamine is based on sugar, surely it is quite a lot? One of my best friends has started taking them and she is putting on weight.
Answer:
LOOK ON THE BOX! READ THE LABEL
Has she been prescribed this or is she using it as an aid to loose weight...coz thats not really the point of them. Is she on anything else, such as inhalers...the steroids in those will cause weight gain.
im not sure, if i had to guess i would think it is quite low. glucosamine is supposed to be effective, and if the sugars were digested, the product wouldnt be effective because the sugars would be burned rather than reaching their sites of action. consuming sugars doesnt neccesarily mean it will make you gain weight if the sugars arent readily digestable. vegetables are actually made of mostly sugar too (cellulose). but your body doesnt readily digest the sugar, so youre not going to get fat from eating lettuce all day. cows on the other hand can digest cellulose, which is why they can get fat from eating leaves and grass and stuff.
even if they were pure sugar, then she would surely be eating so few as not to gain weight ( if you think a tic tac has only 2 calories!)- my husband sometimes takes them and he is diabetic- they have no effect whatsoever on his blood sugarif she has joint pain then she is presumably less active , which could be the reason for her weight gain, added to the medication she may be on which someone has already mentioned
